Welcome to Florida Elite Athletes

The Florida Elite Athletes (FEA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the Florida Elite Colts Travel Flag Football team by raising funds to provide equipment, supplies and financial assistance to the athletes and coaches.

The Florida Elite Colts program consists of four teams, coed 17U, 15U and 9U and a Women's 18U team. Our athletic program is unique in that our athletes are not only learning the fundamentals of flag football and teamwork, but they are also gaining leadership skills, learning about health, nutrition, and financial literacy and they participate in community service events as a team. 

The Florida Elite Athletes believes that integrating community service into youth athletic programs is a crucial aspect of holistic youth development. Beyond just honing physical skills and fostering athletic achievement, youth sports have the unique ability to cultivate a sense of civic responsibility and concern for the broader community.

By encouraging young athletes to volunteer we instill valuable lessons about social awareness, empathy, and giving back. This not only develops well-rounded individuals, but also strengthens the bonds between the athletic community and the neighborhoods they represent.

We believe that community service allows youth to see the positive impact they can have, teaching them to take pride in their ability to make a difference. Ultimately, blending athletics with community engagement helps shape the next generation into engaged, socially conscious citizens who understand the importance of using their talents to uplift and support those around them.
